Nic De Luca is the founder and Managing Director of De Luca Corporation and maintains an active role in the day to day running of the business. His first project was an apartment block for the Queensland Government in 1994. Since that time, Nic has overseen the growth of De Luca Corporation into one of the State’s most successful construction and development companies. With 25 years experience in all aspects of the property & construction industry, Nic’s passion for excellence and his commitment to delivering on promises is reflected across the entire business. Nic holds a degree in Construction Management and is a member of the Property Council of Australia, Master Builders and the Institute of Company Directors.
Greg Martin
Construction Manager
Greg Martin joined De Luca Corporation in April 2010 to manage the company's Construction Division. Greg has in-depth experience in all aspects of the construction industry, from individual site management to the project management of multi-million dollar projects. Greg previously held senior construction manager roles with various companies, and spent the first 15 years of his career with Barclay Mowlem where he commenced employment as an apprentice carpenter, working up to foreman, site manager, project manager and then Manager Asia Pacific. Greg brings a hands on management approach to the construction arm of the company, providing guidence and support to the office and site teams.
Ben Canniffe
Development Manager
Ben has been appointed Design & Development Manager of De Luca Corporation in 2009. After commencing with the company in 2005 as a Contracts Administrator, Ben quickly progressed to Construction Manager and over the years has successfully completed numerous signature projects for the company in that role, the most notable being the $32M Da Vinci Precinct at the Brisbane Airport. Ben has a strong grasp of construction and the management and delivery of projects and people. He brings this experience and expertise into the design and development section of the business, providing a vital link with the construction teams. Ben holds a Bachelor of Construction Management from the Queensland Institute of Technology.
Christine Wood
Financial Controller
Christine commenced with De Luca Corporation in March 2008 and brings over 16 years of Public Practice and Commercial Accounting experience with her. Christine is responsible for the overall financial management and corporate compliance of the De Luca Group of business, worrking closely alongside the Managing Director, Construction and Development Managers on all projects and aspects of the company. Christine also liaises closely with the company's financiers, business partners and Clients to ensure that the highest standards of fiscal management are maintained. Before joining De Luca, Christine worked in a variety of industries ranging from Retail, Manufacturing and Professional Services to publicly listed companies. Christine is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Business in Accountancy (Dist.), a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration and is completing a Masters in Business Administration.
